OK so some of you may have heard that Tom and I had a little bet regarding the winner of The X-factor. We both picked two acts each (Tom -- Olly/Lloyd & Adam -- Joe/Stacey) and said that the other would do a forfeit if we got it wrong. As the weeks passed and my two acts remained and Tom was down to one i was feeling more than confident.

On Saturday nights final Stacey was booted out which left it neck and neck between me and Tom. On Sunday i was a wreck to say the least but Joe managed it and was crowned winner. This only left me with the forfeit to come up with. Below are the two videos or the forfeits.

The first is Tom trying to read the campus guide, but the problem was I was applying weight to a pressure point -- Thanks google. Anyway here is the video.

Now the second, this is Tom giving his rendition of ‘The Climb’ the winners song. Be warned people its a painful watch.

Finally let me just say what a fun term its been with you guys listening. I am looking forward to the Christmas break to give me time to think of a new feature to fill our xfactor hour. Wishing you all a great crimbo and new year!!

Anyway just going to tell you about our Monday show, we’ll be doing xfactor hour – much to some peoples dislike. It’s a hard life watching xfactor and taking notes every Saturday and Sunday. Slowly we’ll also be trying to introduce another new feature, Overheard. We’ll be picking the best snippets from our week were we’ve heard something random, rude or just plain funny. In addition to that I would really like to show my support for the Happy Campus Comedy Club on every other Thursday in the hub. Well worth going to because you’ll either laugh your pants off or just pee them!

Anyway going to go now, promise I will get better at blogging!

The first show was on Monday and Tom Campbell and i were delighted to be asked to present it. It all went very well, we woke up especially earlier and arrived in an hour before our show to prepare our links and music. With 5 minutes to go we were left in the studio with Tom Stephenson to show him how it was done. Bricking it weren’t the words, and with 5 seconds before the news intro we pressed the big shiny buttons and i slide the microphones up.

WE WERE ON AIR FOR THE FIRST TIME AS CLICK TEESSIDE!!!

We chatted about lots in our first show, the new station, presenters, our SRA nomination and of course X-Factor. It was all going so well until Pamela and Chantelle came in, Tom was explaining what not to do and he did it!!! We managed to get back on track and then handed the show over to the girls.

Anyway this is my first blog and i don’t really get it so i will leave it there. Tune in Wednesday 12 – 2 and Mondays 10 – 12!
