Hiya, how ya doin?

It seems I’ve eventually got round to MY blog of awesomeness….sorry for the lateness….guess my only excuse is a lack of time…I’m a busy chicken lol.

This week has been amazing….I have been livin’ la vida loca, I think I’ve spent about 2 hours at home this week lol…I’ve been sampling the delights of the Students’ Union…Quiz, Karoake, Comedy Nite!!!

And of course, (drum roll please)….the mega event, the big deal, the top banana…the University of the Year celebration with an all out Firework Spectacular and staff party…..the event was covered by Click in a custom built kiosk which was amaze The event itself was attended by a lot of people, I was surprised so many had turned out to see….Click had the tunes playing and the atmosphere was expectant…then Adam and Tom counted us in….and away the fireworks went….CLICK CLICK BOOM, CLICK CLICK BOOM….the roar went up in the crowd as all ages were transfixed by the sheer novelty of the event, what a success!…..To take lyrics from the song played throughout…. on Tuesday nite, Teesside University was SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!

The rest of my week has been an adventure, no mistake…..but how good was my guest on Wednesday….I had Stu Slater, SSL School Rep, in the studio and we were chatting about what your School Reps can do for you…next week we have Jen Whitelock, the Representation manager who will be answering your questions…sooo get ‘em in click-ees!!!

This week is also the BIG reveal of my secret….but just for you guys, I’m giving you the lowdown in advance!!!! This Wed on my show 10-12pm, I have a new co-presenter!!!! Her name is Lauren Hughes and she will be keeping me in line and sharing all her pearls of wisdom with all u wonderful listeners…..

I’m very excited about this new era in my show….Lauren will be a fabulous addition and I’m sure you will all agree!! As a special request I’d like you all to email into the show and say HI…request your songs or give a shout out!

Well, I suppose I had better finish up here….I have an exciting weekend planned though…I’m doing my uni work, oh yeah…I’m the kid with all the cool points!! Maybe, for a change of scenery I’ll do some cleaning or grocery shopping…..oh what an exciting life I lead :p :p

Helllooooo Teesside….

How y’all doing? I’ve escaped from the studio…oh yeah….sometimes they only let me out for good behaviour and judging by today’s show it didn’t look hopeful for my freedom haha. I had the BRILLIANT Chantelle co-presenting with me, who made my show a blast…thanks for that dear!

Listen up now little Click-ees cos I also have a secret la-la-la-la-la, listen to my show on the 11th November for the big reveal….and make sure you listen next week 4th November because you may pick up a clue or twooo…it’s a good secret, it’s a great secret, but it IS a secret so I couldn’t POSSIBLY give it away….could I?

Wooo, I’ve had a busy day today…that’s the usual stuff for a blog isn’t it- to tell you all about my day? Are you sitting comfortably- then I’ll begin….I left the studio, then I sat and watched some paint dry for a couple of hours, moving on to the exciting grass growing observation booth and to finish out my day I sat on teletubby hill outside the Library to watch some leaves fall from the trees…but not just any leaves…they were orange, oh yeah….

I have some amazing people on my show next week Click-ees, we have School Reps from the School of Social Sciences and Law so make sure you get any questions you have into the studioo!! The week after we have Jennifer Whitelock, the Representation Manager from our Students’ Union….I’m excited about my guests…are YOU?

Guess what else I’m excited about? I’m very, very excited about Halloween!! It is one of my fave times of year, usually because I can dress up- my friends say I like this a bit too much but I dunno what they mean :p Well, before you all start to think I’m a little bit odd I’m going to finish right here, right now….but check out the pic of me as a devil….not a real representation obviously, I’m an angel in real life

Hope you’re all well….

To be honest, I don’t really have much inspiration for this blog today…I am totally frazzled, my head has weird shapes in it that are just dancing around in front of my eyes….I loved my show this morning apart from the presenter….she was just weird.

It would probably have helped if I’d hit my cues lol, I missed almost every single one…my housemates were in hysterics apparently…I just think they’re mean…they pick on me you know….even our handyman Howard says they do!!

I’m off out tonight I think, bit of a random night I’m predicting…Union, Walkabout, Aruba and Onyx…hope I have a good one, going out with people I’ve not been out with before…life’s all about new experiences people, SINK OR SWIM, SINK OR SWIM….I will have a good night I’ve decided…but you know when you have those nights when no matter how much you wana have a good nite or how much effort you put into it being a good nite…it just isn’t? It just sinks faster than a lead-filled balloon? Well, that’s not me tonite….

I’ve had a busy day today…as usual!! I’ve been to a committee meeting…ooh check me out…on learning and teaching at the university and boy, what an insight lol. I’ve also been into the library…well briefly anyway, it’s quite disturbing that the library has been my home for 2 years and suddenly this year I haven’t got time to go there. I feel like I’m cheating on the library….poor library

I’m well impressed by Chantelle and Pamela’s idea to make a zombie movie…loving the vibes lol, I’ve advertised it on my show today and I will shamelessly do it again here….do you feel lethargic and laxadaisical? do you feel particularly peckish when faced with a live person? do you like wearing old, ripped clothes? then I have the job for you!! BE A ZOMBIE…currently recruiting!! Apply now…..or I’ll send the boys round :p

Anyway, I’m going to quit while I’m ahead. I’m gona make like a tree and leave….

So…..that’s radio huh?

I’ve just finished my first show and how nervous was I? I hope I’ve done a good job anyway….if I haven’t- keep your comments to yourself :p

The show is going to be known as the guestspot and I’m hoping to get all the best guests in Teesside…our guest today Mark Gillespie was ace but I don’t know how likely Northern Ireland’s qualifying will be….I’ll keep my fingers crossed for ya Mark.

As you can probably tell, I’ve never blogged before either…what is a blog??? I think the idea is just to ramble on until no-one wants to read it anymore! I have to say I did love the fact that the first show went on air at strategic points around campus as well as online and I didn’t even know until halfway through! Haha, everyone around today will have heard my voice….ooh what a joy for them! The poor propectives will be scurrying home as fast as their little legs can take ‘em.

I am looking forward to the next show though…I have Lesley from the JobShop in The Link on the show…and this will kick off a regular event on my show….the new JobSpot where I will be reading out the top 3 jobs in The Link every week.

Now I am chilling out before I start the next job on my very long list….I think I’ve prattled on long enough….give your eyes a break and see if you can see a deer out of your window!!
