So a few things have been swimming around in our warped little minds lately…we’ve decided that the monkey project just ISN’T INSANE ENOUGH!! Yeah that’s right, you heard me….we need to crazy it up a bit and we’re counting on you to help us to bring the fun in haha.

So for those of you who didn’t see our Tenacious D tribute video you need to get yourself onto facebook to view such things with your eyeballs….unfortunately I can’t upload the video directly onto this page yet because the song was flagged and we haven’t got round to editing the naughty words out of it, so instead…heres me and chantelle moshing out…

But yes mosey on over to facebook, search “The monkey project” and have a look at the video, and for those of you who’ve already witnessed this enigma….how would you like to see things like that on a regular basis….

Well maybe not quite as badly performed, but yes, we want you to send in your suggestions of your favourite songs, tv episodes, films and we’ll re-enact them in a short burst of insane film footage with props, face-paints and if I get my own way, pigeons!! *^-^*

Ok so just a quick one to mention that on the Tuesday 1st of December me and chantelle have a really cool band lined up to come on the show, they’re completely INSANE and they’re like us with the whole metal/comedy mix. They’re gunna help us count the carpet fibres!!!!

Anyhoo they’ll be coming on to do a review of the taste of chaos gig at the O2 Academy in Newcastle.

The bands playing at the gig include…

• Killswitch engage
• In flames
• Every time I die
• Maylene and the sons of disaster
• Plus special guests, which are believed to be Dead by April

Not only will “The Band” be reviewing the music from the night before, they’ll also be sharing their metal and ytrap playlist with us and if I can get hold of a hammer and some puppies, chantelle should be able to convince them to play a few songs from their new album.

And as if that wasn’t enough to give you that low down tickle we’ll also be capturing their appearance on my AWESOME camera, so you can finally see what we get up to in the studio, including YMCA, puppies, sombreros and all the rest of the INSANITY…it could melt your eyeballs…in fact, you should probably just look away!!

Ahem….also if anyone else is interested in being a guest on the monkey project please get in touch, we’re not as insane as we sound on air (Well…we are but I’ve written this in brackets so you cant see it) and we really would love to have more guests, whether you’re a musician, a comedian, someone from a society or group or even if you just have something important that you simply MUST share with the world!!

OMG OMG OMG! Hi!

So me and chantelle had to listen back to our shows on monday and it was TORTURE! And I quote “Do I really sound like that?” “I’m really sorry to tell you this but….yes” haha cheers for sugar coating that one Tom!

Also we just want to say to all of our listeners…we are SO so sorry for subjecting you to that…just kidding…we’re not sorry really, you should like us, we’re crazy! Everyone loves the crazy crazies! Except when they hug you inappropriately *cough* chantelle *cough*

Ooh and on monday we were trying to describe the second hour of our show and I used the “like a cat on catnip” analogy…but then I thought maybe some of you don’t have junkie cats so heres a picture to show you what we meant…

But there is good news for all of those monkey project fans out there (or yanno…the voices in our heads) but yes, our shows might be going out on the automater thingy next weekend so you can hear our mind explosions and thought vomits then too!! Now doesn’t that make you all feel warm and fuzzy inside? Aren’t you just going “Ooh”

Anyhoo what me and chantelle are pushin for right now is for you to send in your requests, we need to finally sort out a playlist of our very own and seeing as the first half of our show is metal/alt and the second is the YTRAP  hour, we need all of your 90’s and mosh music, plus yanno if it doesn’t fall into any of those categories just send in the requests anyway because at the end of the day you’re the ones listening and we love you *^-^*

I’m not sure if the rest of you funky party fishes can actually post pictures but I’d like to see some and if not just use the awesome force of your keyboard to explain “BY THE POWER OF TEXT!” what you did last weekend!

The “BY THE POWER OF TEXT” thing was supposed to be like a deep voice-over dude, so go back…read it again and imagine saying it like that haha! Fun times!

I realise btw that halloween is now officially over but any holiday that allows me to dress like this….

…and not get arrested is definately worth blogging time!!

I also realise that by putting this picture on here I’ve opened myself up to comments such as  “You’re dressing more appropriately here Pamela” or perhaps such a classic as “Why didn’t you wear a mask” etc etc but this is what I came up with and if you dont like it then that’s just your tough nuggies!

Anyhoo on friday we had a bit of a dress up sesh, we did some crazy things we can’t even think about without throwing up a little and then we watched the rocky horror picture show and timewarped the heck out of hallows eve!!

I call this one "Alice in horrorland" and that ultimately is why I didn't cover this outfit in blood like I was going to...because...my friends this is scarier than ANYTHING I could have done with this costume!

I decided not to post the pirate outfit one because he looks WAY to much like me, like down to the pose and everything! But theyre all up on my facebook should you actually WANT to see my brother ruin every fancy dress costume I’ve ever owned!

Talking of which, because we missed halloween, we figured our zombie film could be a christmas thing…With an evil santa…I’m totally googling evil santas now because I think you all deserve to see what that would look like…

Then again, I could always just show you the REAL santa, who apparently wears glasses and looks a lot like another click presenter…

Yes we then attended the YTRAP of all YTRAP’s at Julies place and I have to say…me and adam got our picture taken with the ghosts from pacman (who won the prize for best costume at the uni shindig may I add) Normally I’d avoid this kind of picture because its a horrible one of me haha but I think they deserve bloggage…They’re AWESOME!

Haha retrooooo, I feel bad that I left the one out where julies in it too but thats the one where my skirt is just a little too short for my liking, this outfit wasnt made for low down shots!

But look what I DID get a picture of…The world record for handshaking, not only is this the BIGGEST handshake to be done at teesside uni, it also took longer to photograph because the stupid timer kept confusing us all!

Ok so I figured I’d cover a few things in this bloggy blog bloglington of mine, I tend to bang on about various things “SQUIRREL!!!!” so I’m gunna summarise the main objectives of the blog so I actually know where I’m going with it and also the more sane of you can just scroll to whatever you wanna read…

In todays blog I intend to use my finger power to type about the following…

• The zombie film…Grr Argggh
• Our secret plan (which I think may have started to worry click now)
• How much more evil than squirrels chantelle is *^-^*
• Links to random funny sites that have fueled my crazy brain spillages!

Ok so first things first…BRAINS…I mean urm the zombie film

"Send more paramedics"

We need peoples to cover themselves in blood (fake blood, animal blood, people blood, whatever floats your boat)  and attempt to eat the brains of other students on campus!! You don’t necessarily have to be a zombie, you can be a survivor, a camera person, an extra running away from your once human now walking sack of meat friends,  you can be someone holding up a cardboard tree…or if you want you can join me in my role, which I think will be the person who survives the whole film purely because she’s drank her weight in tequila and comes out with something randomly funny just often enough that her character is still useful to the storyline.

That’s about all I have to say on the subject of zombies other than you all have spicy brains and I sniff you when I’m walking behind you *^-^*

And now for the secret plan…mwahahahaha

….well…that’s actually not the plan but it’s still pretty funny…cos they’re cats and they’re trying to kill su…oh nevermind!!!

Anyway! I can’t give too much away or chantelle will do her hulk routine on me again so alls I’m gunna say is…

A YTRAP of massive proportions is coming to a university near you VERY soon and we want YOU *points* to get involved!! We’re not gunna make you sacrifice a small animal or anything we just need crazy crazies like yourselves to help us freak out random passers by so much that they go INSANE and thus listen to our show *^-^*

Which brings me onto the topic of chantelles blog…firstly let me be the first to say I didn’t kill any squirrels nor am I actually myself a squirrel…I’ve performed ONE spell in my life to make a girls trousers fall down and it didn’t even work so I am in effect NOT a witch!!!!…Also I don’t know how I clicked bold but I’m liking this font! …Anyhoo all I have to say is…
