First bit of information I need to tell you is that unfortunately I can’t present my show this Friday as I am graduating. Don’t worry though I should be back on the airwaves next Friday.

Now unless you have been hibernating for the last two weeks you will know that ClickTeesside have just been down to the ‘Big Smoke’ for ‘The BBC Radio 1 SRA Awards’. It was one of the most exciting venues I have been too. Everyone looked truly amazing and it was a superb night. One of the highlights was Rob from the sports show starting his ‘cool’ dancing which you can see a little of here

The food was posh but not the best I have had. The wine was good and the beer was cheaper than expected. Anyway After an agonising wait the announcement came through that Click Teesside had been awarded the Silver award for best student chart show in the UK. What an honour.

I have been with Click from the beginning, starting right back when it was known to only a few as UTRN. I never did get the chance to say a speech but if I had this is sort of how it would of gone:

During my time on this great radio station I have had the pleasure of working with some great people. Dominic Dunn the station manager has been extremely supportive and is a true friend and colleague, Tom Harrison who I’m sure will be in a job of power by the age of 25, is a straight to the point guy who offers as much support as he can. Without Phil around and offering a helping hand I wouldn’t of even been able to attend some of the best nights out, Adam Irish and Tom Campell are awesome guys whom I class as great friends. Rob, Kathryn and anyone else I failed to mention are all amazing people as well. My mum always told me “if you do something you enjoy you’ll never work a day in your life” this is completely true for ClickTeesside, on and off air. The atmosphere and the people make working, presenting and helping out on the station a joy and you couldn’t wish for a better group of people.

Enough of the ‘group hug’ stuff, don’t forget to tune in on Friday the 4^th of December for your chance to win some prizes and listen to some awesome music.

Well I have finally got a little time to write my blog. Sorry for the slight delay in my riveting writings.

Ok so I have still had no ‘tubechoices’ from you so feel free to comment at the bottom of this blog with you favourite songs from youtube. If I play them on Friday you could win tickets for the next Vodka Nationwide event in the Hub.

It has been a while since I have written my blog and quite a lot has happened. I have recently got my Graduation tickets which is very scary, If your graduating in the next few weeks then why not tell me who you and I shall wish you luck on air on Friday.

The week of graduation I will also be travelling down to London to see if the Click team and I have won the Chart show of the year. A few of us presenters and staff will  be doing a live show from outside the O2 arena so don’t forget to tune in I will give you more information closer to the time.  Also don’t forget to check the Click website for pictures from the event.

Something else which is key to mention, the graduation Ball is on the 26^th of November so go buy yourself a ticket there is transport included to and from the event, well worth it as it may be the last time you see a lot of the people from Teesside university.

Now normally I have a ‘tubechoice’ picked out for the show this week but as you can see its not embedded on this page, this is because I have to ask permission to play this very funny vid from flight of the concords. If I get the go ahead I will post it on my blog page before the show and you can have a listen before the show and write what you think.

Hello and good morning. (if you are reading this in the afternoon then good afternoon). The first thing I need to do is give a MASSIVE round of applause to our very own Tom Harrison; this website is coming along nicely and is looking great. You can now comment on all the presenters blogs, so please do (be nice!). Also I spent at least 20 minutes playing with the sliding presenters, very cool!

Now on to business, this week’s “Tubechoice” sees another track from the legends that are Rett and Link with an original masterpiece called the “Facebook song”. This song is pretty self explanatory and is well worth a listen this Friday 2 till 4. If you can’t wait till then “Click” below  (see what I did there) and watch the video.

If you have any suggestions for “TubeChoice” then post them at the bottom of the blog, I’ll listen to them and if there is no swearing then your choice will be played on Friday between 2-4. Something important to mention is if your song gets played you could WIN 2 tickets to cineworld so it’s well worth posting you choices below. OK, so my first show is now done and dusted. I love being back!

Hello and welcome to the first of many blogs from me MarcLC, I’m an old yet new presenter here on ClickTeesside.com.

A new broadcast term has started and therefore a new show will begin. Every Friday, 2 till 4, you’ll hear me playing you some great music and giving you chances to win some great prizes. All you have to do is tune in.

This Friday will see the start of a brand new idea called “TubeChoice”.

Have you ever been sent a link to a funny song on YouTube. Like the MacDonald’s rap or the Bible song. Well now if you do you can send those links to me at ClickTeesside, along with your name, and if I play your YouTube Choice on the radio, you could be in with a chance to win some great prizes.

This week I will play you a song that I came across while scanning YouTube during the summer. It’s called Alien Makes Contact. You can check it out before the show and tell me what you think. I’ll read your comments on air, on Friday so keep them clean.
